  • Braving the cold

I don't know why I did this, but I decided to brave the cold and did some shopping.

I surprised myself my walking around Soho in 14 degree (-10 degrees Celsius) weather. Maybe it's the tall buildings blocking the wind, but I don't feel particularly uncomfortable at all. There's enough sun to keep me warm.

That kind of remind me a psychological just for fun test I took years ago. I only remember this answer: Winter sun means that you are cool on the outside but warm on the inside. That wasn't the answer I picked, but the answer stuck to my mind.

Today I am inspired. Feeling the warmth of the winter sun, I thought to myself, how many times we didn't make the effort to brave the cold and really get to know someone? I always hear complaints about the cool person not reaching out. What about ourselves? Did we make the effort to break the ice? If we don't succeed at first, do we try, try again?
